Stockton Extends Win Streak to Four, 3-0

Boxscore

Galloway, NJ – Stockton University (7-1) extended its winning streak to four games with a 3-0 victory over Delaware Valley (3-4-1) in a non-conference home match at G. Larry James Stadium. Anthony Colofranson (Woodbury Hts./Gateway) scored twice to push his goal streak to four games and Tim Sost (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) chipped in with a goal and an assist for the Ospreys.

Colofranson tapped in a lead pass from Sost with 21:49 gone in the game to get Stockton on the board. Sost netted his first goal of the season off an assist by Jeff Morgan (Sicklerville/Timber Creek) with just 1:06 left in the first half to double the Ospreys' lead to 2-0 at the break.

Colofranson added his team-leading sixth goal of the season, all in the last four games, on a breakaway with 18:36 left in the game to cap the 3-0 victory. Tyler Mills (East Windsor/Hightstown) earned the assist with the pass ahead to Colofranson.

The Ospreys did not allow a shot as goalkeepers Chris Giraudin (Pine Bush, NY/Pine Bush) and Brian Swider (Brick/Brick Memorial) combined on the team's second consecutive shutout. Stockton outshot Delaware Valley 25-0 and Aggies' goalie Connor Hedgepeth finished with 11 saves.

Stockton will play its third game in five days on Wednesday when the Ospreys visit Haverford for a non-conference match at 4 pm.
