Boxscore

Washington, DC – Stockton University (3-0) remained unbeaten thus far in 2015 as the Ospreys downed Washington & Lee (VA) (1-1-1) by a 3-0 score on Saturday afternoon. Three different Ospreys scored on the afternoon, with senior Bobby Spracklin (Eastampton/Rancocas Valley) dishing assists on two of the tallies. The contest finished up Stockton's stint at the Turk DC Classic at Catholic University.

Stockton opened the scoring at the 32:36 mark as freshman Steven Tobolski (Vineland/Vineland) took a Spracklin pass, dribbled down the right side and deposited his second goal of the weekend for a 1-0 lead. The Ospreys fired off eight shots during the first half but netted just the lone score as the period ended with the 1-0 score in favor of Stockton.

Jared Ruff (Delran/Delran) made it 2-0 midway thought the second stanza with a helper from Spracklin before Erik Kretschmer (Manahawkin/Southern Regional) put the exclamation point on a successful weekend for the Ospreys with his first score of the year at 81:54. Mike DeFeo (Sicklerville/Timber Creek) assisted on the goal to set the final at 3-0.

Gillen Beck played the first 67 minutes in net for Washington & Lee, making six saves but taking the loss. Connor Hayward finished up, kicking out three shots for the Generals.
