BoxscoreNew Paltz, NY – Stockton University (1-1) scored twice in the first 2:49 of the contest and ran away with a 5-0 victory over Medgar Evers (0-1) on Saturday afternoon. The contest was stopped in the 77th minute as Medgar Evers could not field enough players to finish the game. The match was Ospreys' first of the New Paltz Vargas-Robin Tournament.
Alexa Aldredge (Cranford/Cranford) opened the scoring for Stockton just 47 seconds into the game when she tallied her first goal on an Osprey uniform for a quick 1-0 lead.
Lindsey Thomas (Swedesboro/Kingsway) hit the net 2:02 later for a 2-0 advantage.
Mairead McKeary (Cranford/Cranford) picked up her first goal of the season late in the first half for a 3-0 lead for Stockton at the break.
The rout continued just under five minutes into the second half as
Adrianna Boucher (Hamilton/Steinert) made it 4-0 before
Lauren Bowler (Little Silver/Red Bank Regional) set the final score with her first career goal at 72:02. Freshman
Alexa Chiaro (Cherry Hill/Cherry Hill West) picked up her first career point with an assist on the tally. Four of the five scores were unassisted and the contest ended with Stockton leading 5-0.

Nicole Pallante (Brick/Brick Twp.) played the first 23:49 to earn her first career victory in net for Stockton.
Morgan Fair (Crownsville, MD/North County) relieved Pallante, playing 30:17 before giving way to
Erin Kinneman (Aberdeen/Matawan Regional), who finished up the last 22:46 of the combined shutout. None of the Osprey goalies faced a shot in the game.
Stockton will take on host New Paltz tomorrow for a noon start at the New Paltz Vargas-Robin Tournament.
