BoxscoreNew Paltz, NY – Stockton University (2-1) scored three goals in the first 23 minutes and rolled to a 5-0 victory over host New Paltz (1-1) in the Vargas-Robin Tournament.

Adrianna Boucher (Hamilton/Steinert) contributed a goal and two assists in the second straight victory for the Ospreys. Freshman goalkeeper
Nicole Pallante (Brick/Brick Twp.) needed just one save to post her first career shutout.
McKeary scored the only goal that Stockton would need with an assist by Boucher 11:30 into the game. Just 2:10 later, Boucher potted a goal assisted by
Lindsey Thomas (Swedesboro/Kingsway) for a 2-0 advantage. McKeary capped the three-goal outburst with her team-leading third goal of the season unassisted at 22:17.
Chelsea James (Howell/Howell) found the net and Boucher notched another assist with only 53 seconds left in the first half and Stockton held a commanding 4-0 lead at the break. Newcomer
Sara Beenders (Rahway/Allied Health & Sciences) scored her first career goal with just 7:31 remaining to put the exclamation point on the 5-0 victory.
Allison Reber (Brick/Brick Memorial) assisted on the marker. Pallante made her only save of the match in the second half to preserve the shutout.
Stockton will play its home opener on Thursday, September 10 when the Ospreys host St. Joseph-LI at 7 pm.
