Ewing, NJ – Stockton University (6-8, 0-4 NJAC) faced a ranked opponent for the second straight game and fourth time this season, suffering a 6-1 defeat to #10 The College of New Jersey (11-3, 5-0) in an NJAC road game.
Emily McNeill (Blackwood/Paul VI) scored a late goal for the Ospreys.

Emily Sorochynskyj (Boonton/Boonton) made 16 saves, the second-highest total of her career, as the Ospreys were besieged by 31 shots and 20 penalty corners from the Lions.
Victoria Caiazzo (Manahawkin/Southern Regional) contributed a defensive save and also had a scoring chance denied on a defensive save by TCNJ's Lexi Smith.
Sorochynskyj made eight saves as Stockton stayed close throughout the first half, surrendering two goals, at 8:19 and 29:12. The Ospreys also registered five of their six shots in the game before the break. TCNJ exerted its strength with four goals in the second half, two in the first 13 minutes and two more later.
Stockton averted the shutout as McNeill scored with just 10 seconds left in the game for the 6-1 final count. The goal came off a scramble in front of the net and was McNeill's third of the season.
Stockton will play its final three games of the regular season at home, starting with an NJAC contest against Ramapo on Saturday at 1 p.m.
