Boxscore

Collegeville, PA – Stockton University (5-7-4) scored the first two goals of the game and protected the lead for 53 minutes to top Ursinus (4-9) 2-1 for its third straight win. Nick Cristea (Medford/Shawnee) led the Ospreys with a goal and an assist. Freshman Christian Bik (Vineland/St. Augustine Prep) scored his first career goal.

Bik, who has been limited to just eight games due to injury, netted his first goal on a 25-yard blast 21:38 into the game and Cristea assisted on the tally. Cristea then scored for the second straight game, finishing a feed from Anthony Colofranson (Woodbury Hts./Gateway) for a 2-0 lead with 8:13 left in the first half.

The two-goal advantage lasted less than a minute as Ben Amaral quickly responded for the Bears just 46 seconds later to trim the margin to 2-1 with 7:27 on the first half clock. Stockton held the slim lead for the rest of the game to post its third straight win, 2-1.

Stockton goalkeeper Michael Lescano (Union/St. Benedict's Prep) earned the victory with two saves. The statistics for the match were fairly even, with shots 15-14 in favor of Ursinus and corner kicks 5-3 on the Stockton side.

Stockton will be on the road again on Saturday for its next-to-last game of the regular season when the Ospreys visit New Jersey City for a 1 p.m. match.
