Nicole Pallante (Brick/Brick Twp.) gave her team a chance with four saves while the Ospreys were outshot 15-2.
Chelsea Thomas (Barrington/Haddon Hts.) registered Stockton's only shot on goal of the night and
Michelle Sander (Ewing/Notre Dame) also recorded a shot attempt for the Ospreys, who were blanked for the fourth time this season.
The game was scoreless for over 59 minutes before Marquel Love broke through with a goal for the Violets. Stockton had one last chance with 1:52 remaining but a shot by Thomas was saved by NYU goalie Cassie Steinberg and the game ended 1-0.
Stockton returns home to host New Jersey City in an NJAC game on Saturday at 3 p.m.
