Immaculata, PA – Stockton University (2-6-4) yielded an early goal that proved to be the difference in a frustrating 1-0 setback to Immaculata (6-4-1) that started a three-game road trip for the Ospreys. Stockton outshot Immaculata 13-4 in the game and had a 5-2 advantage on corner kicks but could not find the back of the net.
The Mighty Macs struck early, with Nick Boule scoring just 4:28 into the match. Immaculata then held off the Ospreys for over 85 minutes to make the lone goal stand up.
Anthony Colofranson (Woodbury Hts./Gateway) fired a game-high eight shots, including four on goal.
Zach Burns (Washington Twp./Washington Twp.) and freshman
Luke Morgan (Medford/Shawnee) registered two shots followed by
James Kayal (Mahwah/Mahwah) with one. Stockton tried 10 shots in the second half, six of which were on goal, but the Ospreys were held off the scoreboard for the third straight game.
