Rutgers-Newark broke the scoreless deadlock by scoring on a free kick with 6:17 remaining and added another tally in the final minute for the 2-0 result.
Stockton hits the road again on Wednesday for an NJAC game at The College of New Jersey at 7:30 p.m.
