Staten Island, NY – Stockton University (9-3-2) played for the second straight day and ended up with a 0-0 tie in a non-conference road game at Staten Island (7-3-2). Goalkeeper
Nicole Pallante (Brick/Brick Twp.) earned her second straight shutout and sixth of the season with four saves.
Each team registered nine shots and Stockton had a 7-3 advantage on corner kicks.
Adrianna Boucher (Hamilton/Steinert) topped the Ospreys with four shots followed by
Abigayle Musto (Wall Twp./Wall) with two.
Stockton survived two scares in the first half. Staten Island's Lauren Smith hit the crossbar shortly after the midpoint of the half. Pallante later made a save on a penalty kick with 10:30 left before halftime. The teams tried four shots apiece to no avail in the second half and the game went to overtime.
The Ospreys were outshot 3-2 in the two overtime periods but Pallante made two saves and the match ended as a 0-0 tie.
