BoxscoreGalloway, NJ – Stockton University (17-5, 12-3 NJAC) produced its highest point total since December 22, 2008 as the Ospreys rolled to a 105-66 triumph over Ramapo College (14-8, 10-5). Stockton outscored the Roadrunners 58-28 in the second half on the strength of 62.2 percent shooting in the stanza.

The win was the 800th in the program's 44-season history and victory number 599 for head coach
Gerry Matthews in 30 years on the Stockton bench.

Jaymere Hadden (Millville/Millville) led four Ospreys in double figures with a game-high 23 points. Hadden shot 9-10 from the field including a perfect 3-3 from three-point range.
Armin Cane (Pleasantville/Pleasantville) scored 21 points for the second straight game and also added four rebounds, four assists and a game-high four steals.

Darius Jerkins (Somers Point/Mainland) had a strong game in the paint, tallying a career-high 16 points plus a game-high eight rebounds.
Maurice Hart (Asbury Park/Asbury Park) chipped in with 15 points and six boards. Stockton shot 55.9 percent from the floor in the game.

The Ospreys led for all but 50 seconds, jumping out with an 8-2 start highlighted by five early points by Hadden and never looking back. The margin was 11 at 47-36 after consecutive three-pointers by
Zavon Johnson (Trenton/West Windsor Plainsboro South) late in the half before a Ramapo layup made it 47-38 at the break. Hadden and Jerkins paced Stockton with 11 and 10 points respectively.

Shortly after the second half began, the Ospreys exploded for a 20-2 run in less than four minutes to put the game away. They scored seven straight points before a Ramapo basket and then reeled off another 13 markers in a row. Cane scored 11 of the 20 counters including the last six on a pair of three-pointers 19 seconds apart that increased the lead to 69-44.

The advantage reached 40 at 98-58 on a layup by Hadden with 4:13 remaining. Stockton hit the century mark on a jumper by
Malcolm Parrish (Bridgeton/Cumberland) with 2:36 on the clock that was his first points of the season. The Ospreys added five more points for the 105-66 final score.

Matthews will get his first crack at career win number 600 when the Ospreys visit New Jersey City for an 8 p.m. tilt on Wednesday. Stockton and NJCU are tied for first in the NJAC with 12-3 conference records.
