Galloway, NJ – Stockton University (4-1) never trailed and broke the game open in the fourth quarter on the way to a 10-7 victory over Albright (1-4). James O'Donnell (Mt. Laurel/Lenape) scored a game-high four goals and Guy Loggi (Somers Point/Mainland) chipped in with two goals and two assists.

O'Donnell and Loggi scored the only goals of the first quarter to stake the Ospreys to a 2-0 lead. Albright answered with two goals in the first two minutes of the second period to knot the game 2-2. Stockton then took the lead for good on tallies by O'Donnell and Loggi 1:16 apart for a 4-2 advantage.

Albright got one back three minutes later but O'Donnell netted his third goal of the first half, assisted by Loggi. Neither team scored for the last 5:46 of the stanza and Stockton lead 5-3 at the intermission.

Albright again pulled within one at 5-4 four minutes into the second half and the teams battled through nearly nine scoreless minutes. The drought ended when Loggi set up Mike Caposella (Wayne/DePaul Catholic) for the first of his two second-half markers as Stockton bumped the lead back to two at 6-4.

On the ensuing faceoff, freshman defender Chris Holleritter (Oak Ridge/Jefferson Twp.) scooped up a ground ball and scored his first career goal. The marker came just 10 seconds after Caposella's and gave the Ospreys their biggest lead yet at 7-4.

O'Donnell potted his fourth of the game with 2:23 gone in the fourth quarter but Albright responded less than two minutes later to pull within three again at 8-5. Stockton had held the Lions scoreless for 15 minutes before they finally broke through.

Stockton clinched the outcome on consecutive goals by Zack Aho (Shamong/Seneca) and then Caposella for an insurmountable 10-5 advantage with 7:38 to play. Albright netted two counters in the last three minutes before Stockton killed the remaining time for the 10-7 triumph.
