BoxscoreGalloway, NJ – Stockton University (8-2, 1-0 Skyline) exploded for its highest goal total since 2012 and downed Mount St. Vincent (1-9, 0-1 Skyline) 24-0 in the Skyline Conference opener for both teams. Fifteen different players scored goals for Stockton, led by
Vincent Manasia (Clark/Arthur L. Johnson) with four. Every available player saw action as the Ospreys posted their third shutout ever.
Stockton was held scoreless for the first seven-and-a-half minutes of the game then rattled off three goals in a span of 2:05 to take a quick 3-0 lead. The Ospreys finished up the first period with four more tallies in the last 2:29 for a 7-0 advantage.
Mark Scherzer (Holmdel/Holmdel) accounted for two of the markers.
The Ospreys potted three scores in the first 51 seconds of the second period and the rout was on at 10-0. Manasia tallied all four of his goals during the quarter as Stockton increased the margin to 18-0 at the break. Six more counters during the third quarter stretched the lead to 24-0 before both squads finished up the final period without scoring.

Santino Gabriele (Nutley/Nutley) added two goals and his first career assist. Scherzer,

Tyler Bollard (Philadelphia, PA/Archbishop Ryan) was a perfect 15-15 on faceoffs, scooped a game-high 10 ground balls and scored his first career goal. Freshman
Jon Liguori (Philadelphia, PA/Archbishop Ryan) scored his first career goal and transfer
Jamar Hall (Logan Twp./Kingsway) scored first goal at Stockton.
Tyler Macejka (Pequannock/Pequannock Twp.) also picked up his first career assist in the game.
James O'Donnell (Mt. Laurel/Lenape) dished two of the team's nine assists to top the squad.
Pat Quinn (Shrewsbury/Red Bank Regional) earned the win with two saves while playing the first half.
Eric Leonard (Mt. Laurel/Lenape) made four saves in the third quarter.
Andrew Baumgartel (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) finished up the combined shutout by kicking out three shots in the final period.
Tony Pagano (Flemington/Hunterdon Central) dug out six ground balls while winning eight of 10 draws
Max Beck (Marlton/Cherokee) led all players with three caused turnovers. Jamie Fitzgerald and Germain Ngaba scooped four ground balls each to lead the Dolphins, with Ngaba firing seven shots.
Stockton will have a week off before they take to the road to face Montclair State next Saturday, April 9 at 3 p.m.
