Oneonta State boxscore / Stevens boxscore

Hoboken, NJ – Stockton University (10-3) wrapped up its weekend of competition at the Stevens Ducks Classic by splitting two matches. The Ospreys topped Oneonta State (NY) (2-9) in four sets 25-15, 24-26, 25-18, 25-18 but then fell to the tournament host Stevens (13-1) in three frames, 25-19, 25-12, 26-24. Idi Uffen (Williamstown/Williamstown) led Stockton with 26 kills and nine blocks on the day.
 
Uffen spiked a career-high 16 kills and Lindsay Schuele (Sparta/Sparta) added 15 kills in the win over Oneonta. Uffen also registered six blocks. Jessica Ciandella (Beachwood/Roselle Catholic) dished 23 assists followed by Faith Hoagland (Demarest/Northern Valley Demarest) with 18 assists. Rebecka Zabilowicz (Belmar/Red Bank Regional) paced the back-row defense with 20 digs.
 
Against Stevens, Stephanie Kovacs (Allentown, PA/Central Catholic) smacked a team-high 11 kills and Uffen contributed 10 kills plus three blocks. Zabilowicz led all players with 17 digs while Ciandella and Hoagland finished with 18 and 10 assists respectively.
 
Up next, Stockton will host Kean University in an NJAC match at 7 p.m.
