Hackettstown, NJ - Stockton University (1-2) played its third consecutive road game to open the season and fell to Centenary (1-1) 3-1. Senior Anthony Colofranson (Woodbury Hts./Gateway) scored his first goal of the year and 53rd of his career for the Ospreys.

Stockton fell behind early as the Cyclones scored just under seven minutes into the game. The score remained 1-0 until the teams combined for three markers in the last 18 minutes of the match.

The Ospreys' deficit grew to 2-0 with 17:04 remaining. Colofranson answered 3:23 to pull Stockton within 2-1 with 13:41 to play. The Ospreys registered the next two shots, but they could not produce the tying goal. Centenary added an insurance tally with just 4:18 on the clock to make the final score 3-1.

Stockton will host the Seashore Classic at G. Larry James Stadium on September 10-11, starting with the team's home opener against FDU-Florham on Saturday at 1 p.m.
