Galloway, NJ – Stockton University (4-1) scored the last four goals of the game to snap a 6-6 tie and defeat Drew University (5-2) 10-6 for the Ospreys' fourth straight win.
Kristen Russo (Wayne/Wayne Hills) led Stockton with a game-high three goals.
Kim Raichelson (Brick/Brick Memorial),
Alexa Rubino (Voorhees/Eastern) and
Mary Schmid (Lumberton/Holy Cross) chipped in with two goals apiece. Overall, the Ospreys outscored Drew 7-3 in the second half to pull away and win.
Drew took an early 1-0 lead just 32 seconds into the game but Rubino answered to create the first of five ties in the game. The Rangers went ahead 2-1 before Russo's first goal of the match tied it 2-2. Schmid gave Stockton its first lead at 3-2 and it was Drew's turn to respond, which they did five minutes later. The 3-3 tie at the break was a fitting result in a back-and-forth first half.
Raichelson opened the second-half scoring with 4:20 gone but once again Drew evened the game, this time at 4-4 with 21:29 on the clock.
Abbey Yannacone (Manahawkin/Southern Regional) and Rubino scored 23 seconds apart to create the first two-goal margin of the contest at 6-4 in Stockton's favor.
Drew then battled back with two straight tallies for the fifth and final tie at 6-6 with 16:28 remaining. Just 1:20 later, Russo potted a free position shot that put the Ospreys on top for good (7-6). Stockton pulled away with goals by Schmid, Russo and Raichelson in the last 10 minutes to seal the 10-6 triumph.

Maura Twiggs (Ocean City/Ocean City) made six saves to collect the victory between the pipes.
Tamara Torales (Basking Ridge/Ridge) led the stout Stockton defense with game highs of four ground balls and three caused turnovers.
Stockton will enjoy an eight-day break before traveling to St. Joseph's-Long Island next Sunday, March 26 for a noon matchup.
