Galloway, NJ – Stockton University (8-1, 1-0 Skyline) reeled off seven consecutive goals to rally from a 6-3 deficit and top Connecticut College (3-3) 10-7 for its sixth straight win. The Ospreys did not lead at all until the last 11 minutes but outscored the Camels 5-1 in the fourth quarter.
Tommy Gallo (Clinton/North Hunterdon) and
Erik Anderson (Monroe Twp./Monroe Twp.) led the balanced Ospreys with two goals and an assist apiece while
Zack Aho (Shamong/Seneca) tossed in two goals.
Connecticut College scored the first two markers before Anderson got Stockton on the board. The Camels' Ben Parens then won the ensuing faceoff, raced in and scored with only six seconds elapsed since Anderson's goal. Just 14 seconds later, Alex Calabro made it 4-1 Connecticut College.
In the second quarter, tallies by
Chris Kaczmarski (Somers Point/Mainland) and then Anderson got Stockton within 4-3. PJ Kelleher answered for the Camels 23 seconds after Anderson's goal and the Ospreys trailed 5-3 at the half.
Connecticut College struck first in the third quarter for a 6-3 advantage before the Stockton rally began. Aho started the seven-goal barrage and
Mike Drumm (Fairfield/West Essex) scored three minutes later to cut the deficit to one, 6-5, where it remained through the end of the period.
After Aho tied the game 6-6,
Mike Caposella (Wayne/DePaul Catholic) gave Stockton its first lead of the day with 10:11 remaining. Gallo then sandwiched two goals around one by
Joey Tiernan (Voorhees/Eastern) for a 10-6 lead in the final minute. John Cunningham got one back for the Camels with a man-down goal at the 23-second mark but Stockton ran out the clock for the 10-7 win.

Justin Ruiz (Holmdel/Holmdel) improved to 5-0 on the season with nine saves.
Ryan Bradley (Philadelphia, PA/Archbishop Ryan) contributed a game-high three caused turnovers to the defensive effort.
PJ Kelleher and Jackson Kleintz paced Connecticut College with two goals and an assist apiece. Camels' goalie Jameson Hill made 10 saves in the game.
Stockton will go for its seventh consecutive win when the Ospreys visit Mount St. Vincent for a Skyline Conference game on Saturday at 1 p.m.
