Glenside, PA – One day after entering the D3soccer.com national poll at No. 24, Stockton University (5-0-1) remained unbeaten on the season with a 0-0 tie in a road game at Arcadia University (3-1-1). Ospreys' goalkeeper
Kellen Groover (Florence/Life Center) earned his third shutout of the season with three saves.
Stockton outshot Arcadia 16-13, including eight shots on goal, but could not get one past Knights' goalie Chris Watson, who stopped all eight.
Eucario Solano (Galloway/Absegami) topped all players with five shots, four of which went on goal. The Ospreys also had a 7-2 advantage on corner kicks.
The teams registered five shots apiece in the first half. Stockton held an 8-6 edge in the second half but Watson kept them off the board with five saves. Arcadia attempted three shots in the last 3:01 of regulation, however Groover saved one, another was blocked and the third was wide left.
In the two overtimes, the Ospreys recorded three shots and two corners while holding Arcadia to just two shots as the squads settled for a 0-0 draw. The result continued Stockton's best start to a season since going out 5-0-1 in 2006.
Stockton will begin NJAC play on Saturday with a home game against Kean University at 3 pm.
