Galloway, NJ – Stockton University (5-3) won two out of three in doubles and then clinched the outcome by winning four of the six singles matches to post a 6-3 triumph over Immaculata (2-2).
Emily Steinberg (Toms River/TR North) led the Ospreys with wins in singles and doubles.
Steinberg teamed with
Maria Ibarra (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) for an 8-4 victory at No. 1 doubles.
Kristen McCormick (Galloway/Absegami) and
Renee Wornowicz (Old Bridge/Old Bridge) paired to take a decision by the same 8-4 count at No. 3 doubles.
Steinberg cruised 6-0, 6-3 at No. 2 singles and
Brooke Samuels (Salem/Salem) rallied for a 4-6, 7-5, 10-7 win at No. 4 singles.
Brenna Samuels (Salem/Salem) extended her winning streak to nine with a 6-0, 6-4 conquest at No. 5 singles and
Katelyn Emick (West Deptford/West Deptford) won her fifth straight, 6-1, 6-3 at No. 6 singles.
Stockton will play its final two matches at home, starting with an NJAC tilt against Ramapo on Saturday at noon.
