Galloway, NJ – Stockton University (8-7-3, 4-2-2 NJAC) scored four goals in the first half and completed a three-game road trip with a 5-0 win over New Jersey City (6-9, 0-8). Freshman
Villy Fortulus (Winslow Twp./Winslow Twp.) led the Ospreys with two goals and an assist.
Fortulus wasted little time giving Stockton the lead with an unassisted goal just 7:34 into the match. At 23:12,
Eucario Solano (Galloway/Absegami) at started a run of three goals in 14 minutes by converting a free kick for his fifth marker of the season.
Eight minutes later, Fortulus lofted a cross that
Ervin Gjeli (Hasbrouck Hts./Hasbrouck Hts.) headed home for his second goal of the season to make it 3-0.
Max Bond (Cherry Hill/CH West) capped the spurt with his second tally of the year, assisted by
Justin Ruiz (Wayne/Wayne Hills), for a commanding 4-0 lead with 9:10 left in the first half.
In the second half, Fortulus added his second goal of the game and team-leading ninth of the season at 58:29 to end the scoring in the 5-0 victory. Stockton outshot the Gothic Knights 21-8 overall, including 14-3 in the first half. Twenty seven Ospreys saw action in the game.

Stockton will conclude the regular season with a home game against Rutgers-Camden on Wednesday at 7:30 pm that will have implications for NJAC Tournament seeding.
