Center Valley, PA – Stockton University (26-7) finished the 2018 regular season by splitting a tri-match at DeSales University. The Ospreys swept Neumann (14-15) 3-0 but then fell to host DeSales (22-8) by the same 3-0 count.
The Ospreys cruised 25-15, 25-13 in the first two sets against Neumann before clinching the win 25-22.
Julie Kohlhoff (West Islip, NY/West Islip) led the way with 11 kills and four blocks while
Allie Desmond (Ellicott City, MD/Marriotts Ridge) contributed nine kills and four blocks.
Fiona Marziello (Haddonfield/Paul VI) dished 17 assists and added six digs and four kills.
Natalie Miller (Pittsburgh, PA/Thomas Jefferson) scooped a team-high 17 digs followed by
Caity Ullmer (Midland Park/Midland Park) with 10 digs.
Stockton then fell to DeSales 25-20, 25-16, 25-20.
Jocelyn Holobetz (Pottsville, PA/Nativity BVM) paced the Ospreys with 10 kills and Kohlhoff spiked nine kills to finish with 20 on the day.
Alice Brandt (Floral Park/Floral Park) handed out 14 assists and Marziello dealt 13 helpers. Miller paced the back row with 10 digs and Ullmer tallied nine digs.
Stockton is the top seed for the NJAC Tournament and will host a semifinal round match at The Sports Center on November 1 at 7 pm.
