Galloway, NJ – Stockton University (3-3) played just its second home match of the season and fell to Stevens (6-1) by a 6-3 score. The teams split the six singles matches, three of which were decided on tiebreakers, but the Ospreys dropped all three doubles contests.
 
Kristen McCormick (Galloway/Absegami) rolled to a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 3 singles. Brenna Samuels (Salem/Salem) and Katelyn Emick (West Deptford/West Deptford) each rallied from a set down to win at No. 5 and No. 6 singles respectively.
 
Samuels battled back to capture a 4-6, 6-3, 10-5 decision while Emick outlasted her opponent 6-3, 6-3, 11-9 in the closest match of the day. Brooke Samuels (Salem/Salem) took a set off her opponent at No. 3 singles in another match that was decided on a tiebreaker.
 
Stockton will be back on the road on Saturday for an NJAC match at Kean University that begins at noon.
