Swarthmore, PA – Stockton University (2-9) traveled to Swarthmore College (11-5) but came up on the short end, as the Ospreys dropped a doubleheader to the Garnet by scores of 10-0 and 6-0 on Sunday afternoon. Freshman
John Perrino (Wall/Wall) rapped two hits on the day for the visitors.

Swarthmore scored early against Stockton hurler
Brandon Perna (Cherry Hill/CH West) in game one. The Garnet scored four runs in the first two innings before putting the game away with a four spot in the fifth inning and two more markers in the sixth frame. Perrino had two of the three hits for Stockton.

Perna tossed 4.1 innings striking out a pair of hitters, before giving way to freshman
Gavin Pabst (Manchester/Manchester Twp.). Pabst tossed the final 1.2 innings allowing just one earned run.

The Osprey offense was limited to just two hits in the night cap as they fell by a 6-0 final score.
Ray Hughes (Forked River/Lacey Twp.) pitched well in the loss for Stockton. The junior tossed five innings allowing two runs and striking out four batters.

Nick D'Arcy (Toms River/Toms River East) and
Zach Gustites (Flemington/Hunterdon Central) picked up the only safeties for the Ospreys.

Stockton next game will be a non-conference affair on Thursday against Neumann. First pitch in the single game is set for 3 pm.
