Glassboro, NJ – Stockton University (6-2-3, 1-1-1 NJAC) had its nine-game unbeaten streak snapped with a 2-0 defeat in an NJAC game at Rowan University (7-1, 3-0). The loss was the first for the Ospreys since the season opener, with Stockton going 6-0-3 between setbacks.
 
Each team registered 10 shots, with one goal by the Profs in each half the difference. Dasey DiElmo (Little Egg Harbor/Pinelands) fired five of Stockton's 10 attempts, including four on goal, but none found the net as the Ospreys were blanked for the third time this season.
 
The goals came courtesy of Rowan's Daria Jones at 31:37 and Cathryn McCarry at 70:45. Stockton goalkeeper Nicole Pallante (Brick/Brick Twp.) made three saves while Rowan keeper Shelby Money blanked the Ospreys with five stops, four against DiElmo and one on a shot by Kiersten Reszkowski (Freehold/Freehold Twp.).
 
Stockton will return home to host Ramapo in an NJAC match at G. Larry James Stadium on Saturday at 1 pm.
