Lancaster, PA – Stockton University (14-4) swept Messiah (9-8) 3-0 in the first of its three matches at the Franklin & Marshall Scramble. The set scores were 25-21, 25-16, 25-19 as the Ospreys posted their seventh consecutive win.
Allie Desmond (Ellicott City, MD/Marriotts Ridge) led Stockton with 10 kills followed by
Jocelyn Holobetz (Pottsville, PA/Nativity BVM) with seven kills.
Emily Sullivan (Bridgewater/Bridgewater-Raritan) chipped in with 16 assists, six digs, four kills and three aces.

Natalie Miller (Pittsburgh, PA/Thomas Jefferson) tallied a match-high 21 digs and reached the 1,000-dig mark for her career. Miller entered the match with 986 digs and ended the contest with 1,007 digs. She should move into Stockton's all-time top 10 for digs later this season.
Christie Louer (Clifton/Clifton) contributed seven digs, four kills, two blocks and an ace for the Ospreys.
Julie Kohlhoff (West Islip/West Islip) led the net defense with five blocks.
Stockton will continue play in the F&M Scramble tomorrow with matches against Bethany College (WV) at 10 am and Farmingdale State at 12:30 pm.
