Ewing, NJ - Stockton University (0-2, 0-2 NJAC) played its second consecutive conference match to open the 2018 season and fell to NJAC powerhouse The College of New Jersey (2-0, 1-0 NJAC) by a 9-0 score. The Lions extended their incredible 35-year winning streak in conference play to 176 straight victories with the result.
 
Stockton fell behind 3-0 after dropping all three doubles matches by identical 8-1 scores. The Ospreys also were swept in singles play, with Brooke Samuels (Salem/Salem) winning a team-high three games in her match at No. 3 singles.
 
Stockton will have a week off before playing its home opener against Stevens on September 12 at 3 pm.
