Camden, NJ – Stockton University (8-11, 6-6 NJAC) led for 38:21 of the game's 40 minutes and never trailed in a 78-61 victory over Rutgers-Camden (2-17, 2-10) that evened Stockton's conference record at 6-6. The Ospreys dominated the glass 47-33 and registered assists on 17 of their 28 field goals.

Brandon Hamilton (Camden/Paulsboro) led the way with a game-high 21 points. Hamilton shot 8-12 (66.7%) from the floor including 3-5 from three-point range. Freshman Travis Holland (Toms River/TR North) had the best game of his rookie season with a career-high 17 points. Holland also was 3-5 from beyond the arc as part of a 6-10 shooting night.

Fellow freshman Kyion Flanders (Wildwood/Wildwood) contributed 10 points and three assists while Steve Ferebee (Galloway/Absegami) tallied 10 markers and a team-high eight rebounds. All 14 healthy Ospreys saw action in the game.

Holland capped an 8-0 outburst with a three-pointer that gave Stockton its largest lead of the first half at 29-16. Rutgers-Camden fought back to within five before layups by Ferebee and Holland in the last minute of the period made it 33-24 Ospreys at the break. Holland went 3-4 from three-point land and scored 11 first-half points followed by Hamilton with eight and Ferebee with seven.

Stockton turned it up a notch in the second half, shooting 51.6 percent from the floor including 6-13 (46.2%) from outside the arc. Hamilton scored five straight points to boost the lead to 40-26 and the margin stayed at double digits for the last 16-plus minutes.

A Hamilton layup with 5:31 to play gave the Ospreys their biggest advantage of the night at 65-42, and they coasted from there. The Stockton bench got into the act down the stretch and sophomore Zach Freihofer (Northfield/Mainland) capped the 78-61 win with a three-pointer at the 21-second mark for his first career points.

Kyle Goodson Jr. paced Rutgers-Camden with 15 points and a game-high nine rebounds, followed by Terrance Harris with 13 markers.
