Galloway, NJ – Stockton University (22-2, 6-0 NJAC) used a balanced team effort to defeat Ramapo College (9-4, 2-4 NJAC) 3-0 on Thursday night. The scores were 25-19, 25-17, and 25-19 and extended Stockton's winning streak to 15 straight matches.
Christie Louer (Clifton/Clifton) led the Ospreys with 11 kills on the night.

The Ospreystook the first set behind five kills by
Charlotte Leon (Northport, NY/Northport) and four from
Julie Kohlhoff (West Islip, NY/West Islip). The second frame was more Stockton, but this time Louer topped the team with four spikes while teammate
Haley Green (Springville, UT/Maple Mountain) had three kills in the 25-17 win.

Stockton finished off the match but not without a run from the Roadrunners. With the score 11-11 in the final set, Stockton ran off the next six points to take a 17-11 advantage. The visitors rolled right back with six of the next seven points of their own to slice the margin to one at 18-17.

That was as close as the Roadrunners would come and the Ospreys came away with the 25-19 win to clinch the match. Three kills by Kohlhoff and a pair by
Emily Sullivan (Bridgewater/Bridgewater-Raritan) were the difference down the stretch.

Louer also had seven digs, four assists, two aces and a block in her stat-filled evening. Leon and Kohlhoff chipped in with nine kills each, with Kohlhoff adding a match-high four blocks. Â
Alice Brandt (Floral Park, NY/Floral Park) posted a double-double with a season-high 15 assists and 10 digs while Sullivan had 14 assists.

Sophia Marziello (Haddonfield/Paul VI) and
Natalie Miller (Pittsburgh, PA/Thomas) scooped 10 digs each, with freshman
Rachel Rolle (Williamstown/Williamstown) dishing a career-high six assists and Miller adding four helpers.

Stockton will travel to Haverford, PA on Saturday for their next two matches. The Ospreys will face McDaniel College at 2 pm, then will try to avenge one of the team's losses, when they face host Haverford College at 4 pm. Haverford downed Stockton 3-2 on September 14, the Ospreys' last defeat before the current run of 15 straight wins.
