Madison, N.J. – Stockton University (10-0) doubled Drew University (2-9) 4-2 and remained undefeated with its 10th consecutive win. The Ospreys scored twice in the first 18 minutes of the game and kept the lead throughout.
Lainie Allegretto (Ocean City/Ocean City) put Stockton in front early as she potted a rebound just 5:35 into the game. The goal was Allegretto's second of the season. In the second quarter,
Madison Dancisin (Little Egg Harbor/Pinelands) made it 2-0 with a high shot over the Drew goalie's head for her third marker of the year.
April Serratelli got one back for the home team later in the period and Stockton's lead was 2-1 at the break. Just 1:29 into the third quarter, the Ospreys regained a two-goal advantage on a scoring play between their top two point producers.
Gianna Morganti (Berlin/St. Joseph's) tapped in a long pass from
Issy Gilhooley (Ocean City/Ocean City) for a 3-1 advantage. The goal was Morganti's team-leading ninth of the season. The Rangers closed within one again on a tally by Lauren Zultowski and the score was 3-2 entering the fourth quarter.
With 3:22 gone in the final period,
Kassidy Wentzell (Hammonton/St. Joseph's) netted an insurance goal, her third counter of the season, and Gilhooley notched her second assist of the game. Stockton did not allow a shot the rest of the way to seal their 10th win in a row, 4-2.

Natalie Ricevuto (Washington Twp./Washington Twp.) made her first career start and earned the victory with two saves. The Ospreys outshot Drew 14-7 and Rangers' goalie Bridget Kenny also finished with two saves.
Stockton will play its first NJAC game of the season when the Ospreys host #18 Kean University on Saturday at 1 p.m. The Cougars are one of four NJAC teams who are ranked in this week's National Field Hockey Coaches Association poll.
