Chestertown, Md. – Stockton University (13-3-2) played its second road game in two days and fell to Washington College (5-7-3) 1-0 in the penultimate match of the regular season. A goal by the home team in the 62nd minute proved to be the difference.
Each team registered four shots and Stockton earned the only two corner kicks of the game.
Madison Dorney (Washington Twp./Washington Twp.) recorded the lone shot on goal by the Ospreys 11:21 into the game but the attempt was saved by Washington goalkeeper Annalie Buscarino.

Olivia Harris (Sammamish, Wash./Eastlake) made a save in the 14th minute on the only shot on goal by the Shorewomen in the scoreless first half. The match remained 0-0 until 28:28 remained in regulation. Rachel Chatfield hit the net with a 35-yard free kick that proved to be the difference.
The Ospreys managed just one shot the rest of the way, a try by
Michelle Sander (Ewing/Notre Dame) with 4:30 on the clock that sailed wide left. Stockton was held off the scoreboard for the third time this season and fell 1-0.
Harris finished with one save, as did her counterpart Buscarino.
Stockton will finish the regular season with a home game against Rutgers-Camden on Wednesday at 7 p.m. The Ospreys sit in third place in the NJAC and are still mathematically alive to move up to second place on Wednesday, the final day of the regular season.
