Another unearned tally in the third inning upped the advantage to 7-2 before Washington College exploded for six runs on five hits and an error in the bottom of the fifth to jump ahead 8-7.
Stockton responded quickly as Schieda led off the sixth frame with a single and McCray followed with her fourth homer of the season to provide the margin of victory in the 9-8 triumph.

Solo homers by Washington in the fifth and sixth innings made it 7-4. After McCray scored an unearned run in the top of the seventh, the game ended in a 7-5 shortfall.
