Ewing, NJ – Stockton University (9-6, 2-3 NJAC) squared off against 17th-ranked The College of New Jersey (10-5, 5-0), the NJAC leader, and suffered an 18-4 defeat to the Lions, who are unbeaten in conference play.
 
Gaby Ojeda (Galloway/Absegami) scored two goals for the Ospreys. 
Abbey Yannacone (Manahawkin/Southern Regional) and 
Michelle Pascrell (Howell/Freehold Twp.) added one marker apiece.
 
TCNJ scored the first six goals of the game before Ojeda got Stockton on the board with 10:32 gone in the first half. The tally was the only one for the Ospreys in the period, and they trailed 11-1 at the break. In the second half, Ojeda and Yannacone netted unassisted goals while Pascrell's marker came off a feed from 
Danielle Graham (Cherry Hill/CH West).
 
Melanie Patterson (Jackson/Jackson Liberty) grabbed a team-high four draw controls on the night and became Stockton's career leader with 120 draw controls in her four seasons. Patterson broke the school record of 119 by Lauren Ivancich (2015-16).
 
Stockton was outshot 39-10, with goalkeeper 
Brooke Hallett (Absecon/Holy Spirit) facing 27 shots on goal and making nine saves. Alex Fitzpatrick and Kasey Donoghue paced TCNJ with five goals apiece.
 
Stockton will finish the regular season with an NJAC home game against Montclair State on Friday at 7 pm.
