Elizabethtown, PA – Stockton University (7-0) scored goals in the second and fourth periods, staying unbeaten with a 2-0 victory over Elizabethtown College (1-5) on Saturday afternoon.
Casey Cordonna (Barrington/Haddon Heights) and
Gianna Morganti (Berlin/St. Joseph's) scored the markers for the Ospreys.
After a scoreless first period, Stockton got on the board with 2:42 left in the half. After Cordonna served a penalty corner, she broke to the net. Her initial pass went to
Issy Gilhooley (Ocean City/Ocean City), whose slap shot found it way to Cordonna. Her tap-in made it 1-0 in favor of the Ospreys. It was Cordonna's second goal of the season and fourth assist of the year for Gilhooley.
After another scoreless frame in the third period, Stockton scored the insurance tally. 1:58 into the final stanza, Morganti potted her team-leading seventh goal of the season for the 2-0 margin. She scored from in close after a pass from
Shelby Scott (Salem/Salem). Morganti has scored in every game thus far.

Emily Gilligan (West Deptford/West Deptford) needed as she kept the Blue Jays off the board for her second shutout of the season.
The seven-save whitewash was also her eighth career shutout, moving her into sole possession of third place on Stockton's all-time list.
Blue Jays netminder Madeline Kachel made five saves for the home team.
Stockton will return home for their next match on Wednesday night. The Ospreys will face off against Gwynedd Mercy University. Game time is 7pm.
