Galloway, NJ – Stockton University (12-5-3) advanced in the NJAC Tournament with a 1-0 victory over Kean University (6-8-3) on Saturday afternoon.
Rylee Getter (Galloway/Absegami) scored the game winner for the Ospreys.

Stockton, the number four seed, dominated play in the game, outshooting the fifth seeded Cougars 17-2, with nine shots being on net for the Ospreys. Stockton had eight shots in the first half, with five on net.

Susan Porambo (Millersville, PA/Penn Manor) and
Erica Dietz (Allentown, PA/Central Catholic) had shots kicked away in the 27th and 28th minutes for the best attempts for the Ospreys, but the half remained scoreless.

Getter broke the scoreless duel at 61:29 when she potted her third goal of the season.
Salena LeDonne (Parsippany/Parsippany) blasted a shot that was blocked. When Kean failed to clear the ball, Getter gathered the loose ball and gave Stockton the 1-0 lead.

From there, the Ospreys sealed the match, keeping the pressure on the visitors, not allowing a shot attempt in the final 45 minutes for the 1-0 win.

Kylee Sullivan made one save for the Ospreys in net, posting her seventh shutout of the season, tying her for first in the NJAC. Julia Masucci was outstanding in net for Kean, making eight saves in the match.

Stockton will face #1 seeded The College of New Jersey on Tuesday night in the NJAC semi-finals. The game in Ewing will is scheduled for 7 pm.
