Ewing, NJ – Stockton University (12-6-3) played hard but fell to #1 The College of New Jersey (16-0-1) by a 2-0 score on Tuesday night. The loss eliminated Stockton from the NJAC Tournament in the semifinal round. The Lions are ranked first nationally by the United Soccer Coaches and are the No. 1 seed in the tournament.

Stockton held the high-powered Lions' offense scoreless during the first half. TCNJ outshot the Ospreys 10-2 but could not find the net as

TCNJ finally broke through at 74:29 when Gianna Minerva hit the top corner for a 1-0 lead. Just 2:24 later, Ava Curtis set the final score at 2-0 with a shot to the top right corner, giving the Lions the win.
