Wayne, N.J. – Stockton University (2-1-2) played its first game in a week and blanked William Paterson (0-1-2) 1-0 for its third shutout in five games this season. Salena LeDonne (Parsippany/Parsippany) scored the game-winner in the second half.
 
The Ospreys outshot William Paterson 14-2 and held an 8-2 advantage in corner kicks on the afternoon. Stockton goalkeeper Kylee Sullivan (Jackson/Jackson Memorial) needed just one save to record her second shutout in three games played this spring.
 
Stockton fired nine shots and allowed just one shot by the Pioneers in the first half, however the Ospreys were unable to break through for a goal. The game remained scoreless into the 62nd minute when LeDonne potted the eventual game-winning tally.
 
Sullivan's lone save came 50 seconds after LeDonne gave the Ospreys the 1-0 lead and they did not allow a shot in the last 28 minutes to seal the shutout. William Paterson goalie Erica Hickey finished with five saves in the match.
 
Stockton's short regular season is complete. The Ospreys will play next in the NJAC Tournament, which is slated to begin on April 3.
