Mahwah, N.J. – Stockton University finished third out of 10 men's teams in the 2021 NJAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, which were held at Ramapo College. The Ospreys won NJAC individual crowns in three events at the meet.
Keith Holland (Bayville/Central Regional) won the conference title in the pole vault (4.70m) for the sixth straight time (three indoor, three outdoor) and
Hunter Daly (Florence/Florence) won the high jump (2.03m) for the third consecutive time (two outdoor, one indoor).
Kyle Navalance (Toms River/TR North) won the 3000m steeplechase and broke the 23-year-old school record in the event by six seconds (9:25.32).
Four Ospreys posted runner-up finishes, with
Daniel Do the lone second-place finisher in a track event with his performance in the 5000m (15:11.85).
Matthew Carter (Mays Landing/Oakcrest) finished second behind Holland in the pole vault (4.40m).
Darren Wan (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) placed second in the hammer throw (54.76m) and
William Gross (Marlton/Cherokee) was the runner-up in the shot put (14.17m).
Also for the Stockton men,
Max Klenk (Somerdale/Sterling) finished third in the decathlon (4,458 points), which was held at The College of New Jersey on May 5-6.
Stockton will compete next in the TCNJ Last Chance Meet on Thursday.
