Galloway, NJ – Stockton University (3-1-1) extended their unbeaten streak to four straight matches, with a 1-0 victory over Washington College (MD) (4-1) on Sunday afternoon.
Salena LeDonne (Parsippany/Parsippany) tallied the only goal of the game for the Ospreys. It was the second consecutive whitewash for Stockton and their third straight victory.

The teams fought for every inch on the pitch during the first half, with most of the play being in the middle of the field. Attempts were hard to come by, but Stockton was able to breakthrough at the 40:54 mark.

Rylee Getter (Galloway/Absegami) corralled a ball inside the Shorewomen's territory. The sophomore floated a pass to send in LeDonne inside the box and her floater found the back of the net for the 1-0 margin that would last until the break. The assist by Getter was her first career point.

The Osprey defense would make it hold up as Washington College managed just four shots in the second stanza and secured the 1-0 win. Stockton held a slim 6-5 margin in shots, with the Ospreys getting five shots on net to the Shorewomen's three.

Kylee Sullivan (Jackson/Jackson Memorial) made all three saves in net for Stockton posting her second straight shutout. The senior also extended her scoreless streak to 187:38. Emily Arnold started in goal for Washington College, surrendering one goal and making two saves in 45:00 minutes. Noah Smith played the second half, also kicking out two shots.

Stockton will play the first of two straight on the road, when the Ospreys will travel to Hackettstown to take on Centenary University on Wednesday afternoon. Game time is set for 4 pm.
