Reading, Pa. – Stockton University (6-2) was blanked 1-0 by Alvernia (4-3) in a road game. The Ospreys entered the matchup averaging 4.4 goals per game but their offense was held in the check by the host Golden Wolves.

Alley Harris (Mullica Hill/Delsea) made two saves before she was pulled for an extra attacker with just over three minutes remaining.
Gianna Morganti (Berlin/St. Joseph) recorded two of Stockton's three shots on goal.
The teams dueled through a scoreless first half. Just 3:31 into the third quarter, Alvernia's Madison Potthoff scored what would be the only goal of the game.
The Ospreys pressed the attack early in the fourth quarter, generating three penalty corners and two shots, but the Golden Wolves kept Stockton off the board for the 1-0 final.
Stockton returns home to host Muhlenberg College on Thursday at 7 p.m.
