Haverford, Pa. – Stockton University (1-3) dropped both of its matches on the second day of the Haverford Invitational. The Ospreys fell to Stevenson 3-0 and then Coast Guard 3-1. Charlotte Leon (Northport, N.Y./Northport) and Emma Capriglione (Tuckerton/Pinelands) paced the Ospreys with 15 kills apiece on the day.
 
Capriglione spiked a team-high six kills against Stevenson. Aubrey Rentzel (York, Pa./Central York) dished 14 assists while Sophia Marziello (Haddonfield/Paul VI) snagged a team-high 11 digs.
 
In the four-setter against Coast Guard, Leon topped Stockton with 11 kills followed by Capriglione with nine kills. Rentzel totaled 19 assists, eight digs, three aces and two kills. Marziello again led the squad in digs, this time with nine.
 
Stockton will have nearly a week off before playing three matches at the Susquehanna Crusader Classic on September 10-11.
