Union, N.J. – Stockton University (6-9, 0-6 NJAC) finished up conference play with a 7-0 defeat to Kean University (13-3, 3-2 NJAC), which is ranked 11th in the nation by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association. The game was Stockton's third of the season against a ranked opponent.

Kylie Mitchell (Shamong/Seneca) made a season-high 12 saves, reaching double figures for the second straight game as Kean fired 24 shots on goal.
Alexandria Palumbo (Mantua/Clearview) contributed defensively with three defensive saves.
Makenna LeHenaff (Burlington/Burlington Twp.) and
Alyssa Greiner (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) made one defensive save apiece for the Ospreys. Palumbo also was credited with a team-high four shots, including three on goal.
Kean scored twice in the first 11 minutes and then broke the game open with three goals in the second quarter. The Cougars added two more goals in the fourth period for the 7-0 final. Ja'Carra Jackson, Peyton Mann and Kelsey Corbett netted two markers apiece for the Cougars.
Stockton will finish the 2022 season with a pair of non-conference games next week, starting with a road trip to Albright on Monday for a 7 p.m. contest.
