Madison, N.J. – Stockton University (1-2) was edged 16-15 by Drew University (3-0) on a game-winning goal with just 1.2 seconds left in regulation. The close matchup was tied five times and went down to the wire before the Rangers prevailed.

Jennifer Toal (Pine Beach/Toms River South) totaled four goals and one assist for five points and added five ground balls, three draw controls and two caused turnovers. Michelle Pascrell (Howell/Freehold Twp.) added four goals, five draw controls and three ground balls.

Casey Shultz (Sewell/Washington Twp.) chipped in with three goals and one assist followed by Mary Meduri (Brigantine/OLMA) with two goals and a game-high nine draw controls.

Stockton fell behind 4-1 early, with Toal netting the only Osprey tally in the first 10 minutes. Meduri and Pascrell got the Ospreys within 4-3 before the Rangers scored two straight for a 6-3 count early in the second quarter.

Toal, Pascrell and Shultz then fired home three straight to forge a 6-6 tie. After Drew briefly pulled ahead 7-6, freshman Emily Deworsop (Monroe Twp./Monroe Twp.) scored her first career goal for a 7-7 deadlock.
