Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University (10-1, 3-0 NJAC) won five out of six in singles and two out of three in doubles for a 7-2 victory over Rutgers-Camden (11-3, 1-2 NJAC). The win was the third straight for the Ospreys, all of which have come in conference play.
Three Stockton players dropped just two games in their singles wins.
Audrey van Schalkwyk (Haddon Hts./Paul VI) and
Kierstyn Fenimore (Tabernacle/Seneca) rolled to wins of 6-0, 6-2 and 6-2, 6-0 respectively.
Elena Nunez (Madrid, Spain/Rye (NY)) notched a 6-1, 6-1 triumph.
Sarb Devi (Galloway/Absegami) earned a 6-2, 6-1 victory and
Sophia Pasquale (Galloway/Holy Spirit) posted a 6-1, 6-2 conquest.
In doubles, Nunez and van Schalkwyk edged their opponents 8-6 while Fenimore and Pasquale recorded an 8-3 victory.
Stockton will be home again on Wednesday when the Ospreys host The College of New Jersey in an NJAC match that begins at 3:30 p.m.
