Haverford, Pa. – Stockton University (7-1-1) extended its winning streak to five and unbeaten streak to seven (6-0-1) with 4-2 road victory at Haverford (2-4-2). The Ospreys erased an early 2-1 deficit by scoring the last three goals of the game.

Owen Kitch (Medford/St. Augustine Prep) led Stockton with a goal and an assist. Eight Ospreys found their way onto the scoresheet with at least one point in a balanced attack.

Haverford got on the board just 3:28 into the game but Stockton answered 11 minutes later as Kitch headed home a corner kick by Antonio Matos (Hammonton/St. Augustine Prep) for the equalizer. The home team took the lead again at 2-1 with 27:33 gone in the first half.

The Ospreys knotted the game for the second time with 4:53 remaining in the first half as freshman Uchechi Wokocha (Galloway/St. Augustine Prep) netted his first career goal with assists by Kitch and Peter Kozlej (Toms River/TR East).

Just 3:37 later, Stockton took the lead for good with Mike McKeown (Blackwood/Highland), who joined the team late last season as a transfer, scoring his first career goal off an assist by freshman Mohammed Bangoura (Jersey City/Hudson Catholic) for a 3-2 edge.

In the second half, Joseph Carbone (Pequannock/Pequannock) potted an insurance goal assisted by Ian Byrne (Lanoka Harbor/Lacey Twp.) with 16:03 left in the game, and the Ospreys added to their winning and unbeaten streaks with the 4-2 triumph.

Stockton goalkeeper Liam Brett (Palmyra/Palmyra) made two saves to record the victory. Haverford goalie Dylan Ioffreda made five stops in the match. Max Mouer and Alex Millones were the goal scorers for the Fords.
