Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University (10-3-5, 4-2-3 NJAC) finished the regular season with a 3-1 setback at Rowan University (8-3-5, 6-2-1 NJAC). Although the defeat snapped Stockton's seven-match unbeaten streak, the Ospreys will be the No. 4 seed for the NJAC Tournament that begins on Saturday.

The Ospreys fell behind on a Rowan goal in the 15th minute but nearly tied the game late in the half on a shot by
Uche Wokocha (Galloway/St. Augustine Prep) that hit the crossbar. Stockton yielded two goals in a span of 1:46 early in the second half as the deficit reached 3-0.
Homowitz broke the shutout by converting a penalty kick with 22:46 remaining in the game. The sophomore booted a low shot into the right corner for his third goal of the season and second on a penalty kick, both in the last four games.
Johnny Troiano scored twice and goalie Dylan Aportela made two saves for Rowan.
Stockton will be the No. 4 seed for the NJAC Tournament and host No. 5 seed Rutgers-Newark in a first-round game on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. The teams played a 1-1 tie in their regular season meeting on September 24.
