Scranton, PA – Stockton University (2-1), playing their third straight road contest, dropped their first game of the season to the University of Scranton (2-1) 19-13 on Wednesday afternoon. Luc Swedlund (Randolph/Randolph) continued his assault on the NCAA Division III record book with five goals and two assists for a team-high seven points.Swedlund needs just six goals to score 300 goals in his career.

Dante Poli (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks South) and Swedlund tallied in the first period, but the Royals answered with three markers for the one goal advantage after one frame at 3-2. The home squad extended the margin to 9-6 at the break, outscoring the Ospreys 6-4 in the second quarter.

Swedlund scored twice with Poli and Ryan Anderson (Avon-by-the-Sea/Manasquan) hitting the net to keep Stockton within striking distance.
