Galloway, NJ – Stockton University (6-1) ran their winning streak to six straight games with a 16-5 win over DeSales University (2-4) on Wednesday afternoon.
Mary McLaughlin (Somers Point/Mainland) led the Ospreys with five goals and an assist for six points. Stockton's winning streak is the program's longest since a seven-game run in 2017.

Margot Costello (South Brunswick/South Brunswick) opened the scoring 1:01 into the game before the Bulldogs answered 53 seconds later to knot the game at 1-1.
Isabella Marinello (West Caldwell/Caldwell) with a pair and a McLaughlin goal offset another tally for DeSales to give the home team a 4-2 lead after one frame.

Stockton scored six of the seven markers in the second quarter to take control of the match with a 10-3 advantage at the break. Costello and McLaughlin scored two goals apiece to lead the team in the period.

The Ospreys put the game away by outscoring DeSales 6-2 in the second half to set the final score at 16-5, for Stockton's sixth consecutive win.

Costello added three goals, with Marinello,
Emily Deworsop (Monroe Twp./Monroe Twp.) and freshman
Brianna Robinson (Cape May Court House/Middle Twp.) chipping in with two scores each.
Lilly Alessandro (Jenkintown, Pa./Abington) led all players with four ground balls and 10 draw controls, one off the school record for Stockton.

Jordan Hawkes (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) started and played the first three quarters, making two saves in earning the win.
Daniela Elliott (Wayne/Wayne Valley) and
Meg Lynch (Glen Rock/Glen Rock) split the final quarter with Elliott making the only save between the two netminders.

For DeSales, Marina Bradley scored two goals and dished two assists for four points to lead the squad. Amanda Schultz also tallied a pair of markers. Goalkeeper Michaela Regan started in net and kicked out six shots in 45 minutes of play. Nicole Minelli made five saves in the final frame.

Stockton will travel to Dallas, Pa. on Saturday for their next match. The Ospreys will face Misericordia University in a 1 pm start.
