Fredericksburg, Va. – Stockton University (9-3, 1-1 CLC) earned its first-ever Coastal Lacrosse Conference victory with a 19-14 road win at Mary Washington (6-7, 0-2 CLC). The Ospreys built a 12-3 lead in the second quarter and stayed in front from there.
Reegan Capozzoli (Wayne/Wayne Valley) scored a game-high five goals and dealt one assist for six points.
Dante Poli (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks South) tallied six points on four goals and two assists.
Luc Swedlund (Randolph/Randolph) contributed two goals and three assists.
After pulling out to a 5-3 edge in the first quarter, Stockton broke the game open with seven straight goals in the second period. Capozzoli scored three while Poli, Swedlund,
Ethan Fought (Bridgewater/Bridgewater-Raritan) and
Robbie O'Brien (Springfield, Pa./Springfield-Delco) netted one apiece to help build a commanding 12-3 lead.
Stanley Kolimago (Lansdale, Pa./Methacton) netted the first and last goals of a third quarter that ended with Stockton on top 17-8. The Ospreys stayed comfortably ahead in the fourth stanza for the 19-14 win.

Colin Bernstein (Warrington/Central Bucks South) tied his second highest save total of the season with 16 stops to collect the win.
Noam Levy-Smith (Margate/Ocean City) registered a game-high four caused turnovers plus four ground balls.
Dave Votapek and J.D. Nozemack paced Mary Washington with three goals apiece.
Stockton will be on the road again on Wednesday for a CLC game at Kean University that begins at 7 p.m.
