Reading, PA – Stockton University (4-0-3) extended their unbeaten streak to seven straight games to begin the year, with a 0-0 draw against Alvernia (0-5-1) on Saturday night.
Megan Brady (Rockaway /Morris Knolls) posted her second consecutive shutout in net.
Despite holding a massive 21-1 advantage in shots and 11-3 in corner kicks, the Ospreys were unable to solve Wolves' goalkeeper Brynn Bock, who made nine saves on the night.
Stockton's best opportunity in the match came in the 79th minute, when the Ospreys squeezed off three shots in 42 seconds. A pair by
Emily Hauck (Lebanon, PA/Northern Lebanon) and another by
Grace Tecce (Jamison, PA/Central Bucks South), were turned away by Bock.
Erica Dietz (Allentown, PA/Central Catholic) led the Ospreys with eight shots and tied Hauck with three being on net for the evening.
Stockton will return home to face Moravian University on Wednesday afternoon for their next match. Game time is set for 5 pm.
