Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University (6-2) scored an early goal and made it stand up for a 1-0 victory over Moravian University (1-5) that was the sixth straight win for the Ospreys. Stockton also recorded its fourth shutout of the season.

Makayla Alessi (Manahawkin/Southern Regional) scored her first career goal for the game-winner. Alessi's marker came on a penalty corner with 13:22 gone in the first quarter and was assisted by
Ameera Bilgrami (Voorhees/Eastern Regional).
Stockton goaltender
Hannah Ayari-Dias (North Caldwell/West Essex) made three saves for her third shutout of the season. Two of the stops by Ayari-Dias came while the game was still scoreless in the first quarter.
The Ospreys outshot Moravian 12-3, with six shots on goal. Greyhounds' goalie Maia Machado finished with five saves.
Stockton begins a three-game homestand on Saturday when the Ospreys host SUNY Oneonta at 10:30 a.m.
